This second rate piece of marble statuary
Stolen from some neglected garden
Adorns my hall, grins over it savagely
From above a cracked, bearded, evil, jaw.
I pass it, as I often must,
With feelings of fear, guilt, and self-disgust;
Along with the voluptuousness of possessing
A cherished work of art.
